Red Chia Salad
Red chia is a favourite of mine for foundational salad, has a nice crunch and these little guys are packed with protein!
Equipment
- Bowl
- Chopping Board
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Organic Red Chia
- 1 Organic Carrot, finely grated
- 2 Stalks Organic Celery
- 3 Florets Organic Caulflower
- 1/2 Cup Organic Microgreens
- Pinch Himalayan Salt
Dressings
- Drizzle of Organic Sunflower Oil
- Drizzle of Organic Toasted Sesame Oil
Instructions
- Rinse and Simmer Organic Chia for 5 minutes, then turn off heat and let sit for 2 minutes.
- Rinse Chia thoroughly and let sit in sieve to drain well, while you are preparing the remainder of ingredients
- Chop up organic cauliflower, small bite size pieces.
- Grate organic carrot and then dice up a bit more.
- Slice thinly Organic Celery, (make sure celery is thoroughly rinsed as celery does harbour pesticides, etc).
- Into bowl, add well drained chia, add the remaining ingredients, top off with a handful of organic micorgreens and mix gently.
- Add salt, and Organic Sunflower and Toasted Sesame Oil and Plasma minerals if using.
