Red Chia Salad

Red chia is a favourite of mine for foundational salad, has a nice crunch and these little guys are packed with protein!

Equipment

  • Bowl
  • Chopping Board

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 Cup Organic Red Chia
  • 1 Organic Carrot, finely grated
  • 2 Stalks Organic Celery
  • 3 Florets Organic Caulflower
  • 1/2 Cup Organic Microgreens
  • Pinch Himalayan Salt

Dressings

  • Drizzle of Organic Sunflower Oil
  • Drizzle of Organic Toasted Sesame Oil

Instructions
 

  • Rinse and Simmer Organic Chia for 5 minutes, then turn off heat and let sit for 2 minutes.
  • Rinse Chia thoroughly and let sit in sieve to drain well, while you are preparing the remainder of ingredients
  • Chop up organic cauliflower, small bite size pieces.
  • Grate organic carrot and then dice up a bit more.
  • Slice thinly Organic Celery, (make sure celery is thoroughly rinsed as celery does harbour pesticides, etc).
  • Into bowl, add well drained chia, add the remaining ingredients, top off with a handful of organic micorgreens and mix gently.
  • Add salt, and Organic Sunflower and Toasted Sesame Oil and Plasma minerals if using.
