Walnut Pate - Vegan

This pate is as wonderful soft creamy pate. Serve on your favorite crackers/crispbread. Would go wonderful on a large lettuce leaf and favorite ingredients as a salad roll up or as a side on your favorite salad dish

Prep Time 15 minutes

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Saucepan
  • Small dish to plate up.

Ingredients
  

  • 75 gm Organic Walnuts
  • 150 ml Pure water
  • 2 tbsp Corn starch
  • 1 tbsp Organic Sunflower Oil
  • 2 ½ tbsp Organic Coconut Aminos
  • ½ tsp Organic Miso Paste
  • ½ tsp Immunity Mushroom Mix Optional, but recommended
  • ½ tsp Smoked Paprika
  • Pinch Himalayan Salt

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to high power blender until you get a smooth paste.
  • Heat pan to a medium heat and pour in mixture, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens. Cook for a couple more minutes, then transfer to your holding dish. Good idea to have a dish that can be sealed.
  • Set in fridge for a few hours.

Notes

Heat it up with a little chili too!  This pate will keep in the fridge for a couple of weeks.
